The Ultimate Cozy Gift Guide for Hygge Bliss
/December is here and the holidays are right around the corner. To help you prepare for the most wonderful time of the year, today I’m sharing 13 fantastic gift ideas that will keep your besties cozy this holiday season.
I don’t know about you, but I love getting C-O-Z-Y this time of year. This gift guide is perfect for anyone who loves to curl up, relax, and enjoy a comfy night in. The older I get, the more I enjoy having an early night or being a homebody.
If you like these ideas, be sure to check out my other gift guides that are coming soon. I’ll be adding a gift guide tab on my blog so they’ll be easy to find. Happy Holidays lovelies!
1. Silk Eye Mask
I never really understood sleep masks until I started catching long red eye flights between Asia and the US. The bright light on the plane used to keep me awake and after landing I’d have to drive completely sleep deprived. Eye masks aren’t only useful for flights — they can help you sleep better in loads of situations.
Sometimes I’ll find myself sharing a hotel room with a girlfriend who might get up early or stay up late. By using a sleep mask, I can still get my beauty rest without bothering her. Recently I’ve become more sensitive to light when sleeping. I’ve tried a bunch of different sleep masks and this Silk Eye Mask is definitely the most comfortable and effective.
2. Fleece Robe
If you have been following my travels, you’ll know that I love, love a good robe. A hotel automatically goes up in my opinion if they provide comfy slippers and a robe. I’ve been searching for the perfect warm, comfy fleece robe for years and I’ve finally found it. The collar and pockets on this robe are wonderful.
3. My Fave Mask
Summer Fridays has done it again with another life-changing face mask. If you saw my nighttime skin routine, you’ll know that I’m in LOVE with Summer Fridays’ jet lag mask. I love putting this overtime mask on for 10 minutes before my jet lag mask.
The pumpkin and apricot seed combo makes it the perfect exfoliator. My skin feels so soft and is really glowing every time I use it. Plus I absolutely love the pumpkin smell.
4. UGG Slippers
I’m obsessed with my UGG slippers. They were the best cozy gift I ever bought myself. There’s nothing worse than having cold feet at home or having to walk across an icy floor at night. UGG slippers are not only warm and cozy, but they’re such high quality that they last for years.
5. Heavy Blanket and Lightweight Blanket
If you’re anything like me, one throw just won’t do. I love having one lightweight and one heavier throw blanket for every situation. Both of these are so soft and perfect for keeping on or next to the sofa for cuddling up with and watching a holiday film. My top three holiday films are Elf, The Holiday, and Love Actually.
6. Pom Pom Pillow + Shag Pillow + Wool Pillow
I absolutely love pillows. I couldn’t settle on just one, so here are three of my favorite cozy pillows. I came across them recently when I was helping my sister decorate her new flat. I love how they all have unique textures for depth and added extras to make them interesting.
7. Pure Silk Skinny Hair Tie
Slip has created the cutest gold holiday bauble with Pure Silk Skinny Hair Ties. Just like the Slip pillowcase and eye mask, these hair ties are 100% silk and don’t leave ridges in your hair like normal hair ties. They don’t damage your hair at all and instead provide support for a messy bun or ponytail.
8. Holiday Candle
This is one of my treasured candles for the holidays. It’s spiced pumpkin and smells amazing. One of my favorite things to do when I get home from work is to walk through the door and light a candle. I often have candles burning in the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom at home. Soy candles burn longer and cleaner, making them a great choice.
9. Cute Hat
This cozy-warm ribbed beanie is such a great winter gift. The faux-fur pom pom adds the perfect little touch and it comes in all kinds of different colors to suit everyone’s style. Plus, because it’s a hat, you don’t have to spend a lot of time stressing over getting the size right. It doesn’t matter if it is hot or cold, I love a good hat at any time of year.
10. Scarf
I always say Zara has the best scarves. This one is adorable, super soft, and perfect for bundling up warm when it’s super chilly outside. I get cold really, really easily so I like having a scarf handy to fend off the chills — even when I’m home watching a movie.
11. Cute Mug
A mug is always a fun, practical, and affordable gift that everyone can appreciate. I love a cup of Moroccan mint tea, but during the holidays you can find me sipping on festive hot cocoa. You can always pair the mug with a gift card for someone’s favorite store or some yummy chocolates if you want to make it a bigger gift.
I’m having so much fun gathering up all these gift ideas for you and the fun has only just started! I have many more gift guides coming this holiday season, so stay tuned. Comment below and let me know which cozy item you’d most like to unwrap on Christmas Day.
